Our Inspiration – Our name is inspired by Jamaica’s National Bird; the Doctor Bird, also known as the Humming Bird, which is a symbol of grace, strength, resilience and healing. Doctor Bird Home Care is our way of blending heritage, heart and hope into something meaningful for our community.

Our Mission- At Doctor Bird Home Care, we believe that care should feel like family. We believe in providing not only excellent care, but intentional care that is thoughtful, tailored and infused with warmth, patience and purpose. Our main focus is on creating lasting connections that brighten everyday life and remind families that they are not alone.

Founding- Doctor Bird Home Care was founded by Rushell Wilson, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with hands on caregiving experience, she was inspired to build the company to provide families with dependable, compassionate care and true peace of mind.
